The Business School of Soochow University, located in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China, is a constituent school of Soochow University, a public university established and granted degree-awarding powers in 1900.
The school currently has more than 3500 students and 710 graduates over the most recent full academic year. There are two post-doctoral research stations in the Business School— Applied Economics and Business Administration, and the school now offers two doctoral programs in Level I discipline— Applied Economics and Business Administration. The Applied Economics program is recognized as a key discipline with an outstanding reputation in Jiangsu Province, and the Business Administration program is recognized as a preponderant discipline in Jiangsu Province.
The Business School consists of seven departments which include Department of Economics, Department of Taxation, Department of Finance, Department of International Economics and Trade, Department of Business Administration, Department of Accounting, and Department of e-Commerce. There are two education centers in the school— the MBA Center and the MPAcc Center. In addition, the School also provides nine undergraduate programs which include Finance, Taxation, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Financial Management, e-Commerce, International Trade, and Finance (Sino-foreign Cooperative Education).
