The University will completely deliver national and local benefits for the related scholars.

Those who are qualified are entitled to the priority in being recommended to the Jiangsu Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (the Double Plan), and, if granted, the Jiangsu government will provide a financial support totaling 5 million yuan, 3 million yuan, 1 million yuan, or half a million yuan accordingly. Those research teams covered by the Double Plan will get a financial support totaling 3 to 8 million yuan.

Those who are qualified are entitled to the priority in being recommended to the Jiangsu Distinguished Professors. If granted, they, within a period of three years, will get from the Jiangsu provincial government research funding totaling 1 million (for scholars in natural sciences; the funding could be as high as 2 million if the applicants are extremely outstanding) or half a million (for scholars in the humanities and social sciences) plus annual position allowance totaling 120,000 yuan (entitled to personal income tax exemption).

The Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) will provide those covered by the Thousand Experts Program supporting benefit totaling 1.5 million yuan and home purchase allowance totaling 1 million, and those covered by the Thousand Talent Experts Program supporting benefit totaling 0.75 million yuan and home purchase subsidy totaling 0.5 million. SIP will provide those covered by the Ten Thousand Talent Program support accounting for 50% of the support at the national level they get, ranging from 0.5 to 1 million yuan.
