现任www.优德88.cpm 教授,校激光加工中心负责人;省级激光工程技术中心副主任。近十年来主要进行镁合金,钛合金,高温合金,铝合金,特殊用途钢的激光表面制造与再制造,对飞机发动机、燃气轮机、烟机的叶片、涡轮盘的激光制造与再制造有多年的研究与应用实践,。2010年获得国际会议的邀请在新加坡做邀请报告。
共发表各类公开文献200多篇,以第一作者共发表论文80多篇,其中第一作者SCI收录20篇,第一作者EI收录70多篇,自2011年以来申请专利受理50多项,已经授权发明10多项,授权实用新型20项,并独撰和参加撰写的书籍共4部。
2016年获得江苏省“333工程”人才称号;2013年获得苏州市科研院所、高等学校紧缺高层次人才称号。2010年获得湖北省优秀自然论文一等奖。2016年获得北美机械制造大会最佳论文奖一项。
主要进行金属的激光增材制造、多孔金属材料的制备,异种金属(如玻璃与金属的焊接)的激光焊接以及激光-电弧复合焊接、激光表面工程以及激光焊接、热处理和金属3D打印装备等研究。
