About the University of Grenoble
The University of Grenoble Alpes (UGA ) is a national comprehensive university with a long history in France. It was established in 1339. The Faculty of Science was established in 1811, and the cooperative network was established with various enterprises in 1941. In the 1950s, it became a large research hub. Located in Grenoble, it consists of six institutions of higher learning and five national organizations and has produced two Nobel Prize laureates - Klaus von Klitzing and Louis Néel, and a Turing Award winner -Joseph Sifakis. Its teaching and scientific research are at the top level in France.
