About the Speaker

Dr. Jianzhong Du is a Distinguished Professor of Tongji University, member of Academic Committee, chairman of the Overseas Chinese Federation, director of the Department of Polymer Materials, winner of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund (2019), fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, member of the Polymer Discipline Committee of Chinese Chemical Society, member of Biomedical Polymer Materials Branch of Chinese Society of Biomaterials, American Chemical Society Biomacromolecules and other journals Advisory editorial board/editorial board. His main research fields are polymeric chemistry and physics, and biomedical materials. He has published more than 160 papers in high-profile journals like JACS, Adv Mater, etc., and won the second prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
