学术成果

磷脂酰肌醇(phosphoinositides)是一类重要的磷脂信号分子家族。已知的7种磷脂酰肌醇分别落位于细胞内膜系统的不同组成部分,是内膜“身份”识别的重要组成部分。7种分子相互转化,将复杂的内膜传输系统变成流动的乐章。其中,PI(3,5)P2的含量很低,其功能在近年来才逐渐揭开面纱。我们在酵母、小鼠和人类中多学科的联合研究发现PI(3,5)P2对神经细胞有保护作用。其缺失可引起多种神经退行性疾病。我们将进一步揭示其上下游通路以及探索利用PI(3,5)P2治疗各种神经退行性疾病的可能。
