The Language Centre aims to improve students' English proficiency as well as their language and learning abilities. Freshmen take English placement test and be classified into corresponding levels according to their test results. The Centre provides a variety of courses including listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, in order to strengthen the training of students' academic English, and to improve their cross-cultural communication skills.

Students will be able to:

★ Independently select and evaluate reference materials related to the field of expertise

★Express and support their position through longer academic writing

★ Give academic speeches related to the field of expertise

★ Actively participate in and lead seminars or other academic discussions

★ Engage in reflective learning and develop critical thinking
