Collaborative Innovation Center of Suzhou Nano Science and Technology
The Collaborative Innovation Center of Suzhou Nano Science and Technology (NANO-CIC) is a regional development-oriented collaborative innovation center, organized by University Innovation Capacity Building Program (also known as ‘2011 Program’). NANO-CIC is led by Soochow University, and includes Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Southeast University and Jiangsu Innovation Strategic Alliance of the Nano-tech Industry as collaborative members.
NANO-CIC was chosen as one of the 14 major collaborative innovation centers by the Ministry of Education in 2013.The aim of NANO-CIC is to promote collaborative innovation, combine higher education together with science, economics and culture to build university innovation capacity, and support the establishment of an innovative nation equipped with strongly competitive human resources. As a regional development-oriented collaborative innovation center, NANO-CIC aims to be an innovative regional leader in the development of nano science and technology, and to create strength and influence in China in the field of nano-technology.
