13 CNST&FUNSOM Members Named as 2022 Global Highly Cited Researchers

On November 15, 2022, Clarivate Analytics revealed its 2022 list of Highly Cited Researchers (HCR). Of the world’s population of scientists, highly cited researchers are 1 in 1000, with 6938 highly cited researchers from 69 countries and regions worldwide named. The number of scholars from Mainland China continues to surge, rising from 935 (14.2%) in 2021 to 1,169 (16.2%) this year.

Soochow University has a total of 23 HCRs recognized in 2022 (for 27 person-times), ranking fifth among Chinese mainland universities, following Tsinghua University (73 person-times), Hunan University (32 person-times), Peking University (31 person-times), and Zhejiang University (28 person-times). Among them, CNST&FUNSOM is proud to have the following researchers included in the 2022 HCR global list for 15 person-times (in random order):

So far, scientists from CNST&FUNSOM havebeen regognized as HCRsfor67 person-times, whichmade remarkablecontributions toSoochow University’srisingglobalimpact. The number of HCRs (person-times) of both Soochow University and CNST&FUNSOM from 2015 to 2022 are as follows:

To date, 8 graduates/post-doctoral researchers (for 28 person-times in total) independently trained by our institute have also been recognized as HCRs over the past several years.
