    Dear Colleagues and Friends:

    We are pleased to announce that the6thSymposium on Innovative Polymers for Controlled Delivery(SIPCD 2024) will be held in September 20-23, 2024 at the Worldhotel Grand DushuLake, Suzhou, China.

    SIPCD held biennially since 2010 has been established as a high-level conference in the fields of biomedical materials, controlled delivery and pharmaceutics. The delivery system is central to nearly all emerging healthcare technologies including nanomedicines, targeted therapy, personalized medicines, gene therapy, molecular imaging, smart diagnosis, protein and cell therapy, imaging-guided surgery, immunotherapy, mRNA vaccines and tissue regeneration. SIPCD has an aim to provide a unique forum that not only facilitates discussion on the cutting-edge delivery technologies and new findings, but also stimulates open and meaningful debate on the critical challenges and potential solutions, thus laying a foundation for future developments and clinical translation. SIPCD 2024 is co-organized by Soochow University and Branch of Biomedical Polymer Materials, Chinese Society for Biomaterials.

    As for our previous symposia, SIPCD 2024 will welcome about 600 participants across the world. We have planned 26 plenary lectures by worldwide leading experts, a rising star session (10 young excellent researchers will be selected to give a short oral presentation, please submit application or nomination by sending the CV to the secretariat, sipcd@suda.edu.cn),and about 300 poster presentations by prominent researchers and PhD students. The whole symposium is organized in one single session, thus offering you the possibility to be present at all lectures and discussions. We hope that SIPCD 2024 will help to shape your future research directions, enlighten and inspire young students and scientists in the community, and offer a lovely venue and atmosphere for social networking with pioneers and colleagues.

    The scientific and social program of SIPCD 2024 will be particularly exciting as it is also in conjunction with celebration of the 80thbirthday of Prof. Jan Feijen.

    Suzhou is one of the most popular tourism cities in China. Being about one hour away by car or 30 mins by train from Shanghai, it can be easily reached from all over the world. The city stands out for its long history (over 2500 years), unique culture, beautiful traditional Chinese gardens, impressive canal systems, stone bridges, and silk products. Suzhou is also known as Paradise on Earth and Oriental Venice.

    1. 会议简介

    第六届新型高分子材料与控制释放国际会议(6thSymposium on Innovative Polymers for Controlled Delivery, SIPCD 2024)将于2024920-23日在苏州独墅湖世尊酒店召开。SIPCD会议自2010年起成功举办了五届,已成为国际生物材料、纳米医药和药物控制释放领域高规格和高水平的国际学术会议,在国内外具有广泛影响。SIPCD 2024会议邀请了生物医用高分子材料、控制释放、药剂等领域28名国内外著名教授和专家做大会报告,包含6名中国、美国、欧洲科学院和工程院院士,20多本国际期刊(Science,Sci. Adv.,JACS,ACS Nano,Nano Lett.,Adv. Sci.,J. Control. Release,Adv. Drug Deliv. Rev.,Biomaterials,Mater. Horiz.,Chem. Mater.)的主编和副主编。SIPCD 2024会议特设立“优秀青年学者论坛”(Rising Star Session)邀请10名学者做口头报告。爱思唯尔药剂和药物释放领域顶级期刊J. Control. Release(影响因子10.5)将颁发10个最佳墙报奖(证书+300美元奖金)。如前五届会议,SIPCD 2024会议将在J. Control. Release杂志上发表一期会议特刊。同时,SIPCD 2024会议将特别庆祝J. Control. Release创刊主编Jan Feijen教授的80岁生日。
